Plysorol has been under receivership since November 28, 2008. The operation, which got approval from the commercial court of Lisieux, northern France, was also backed by Plysorol's workers and the local authorities.

Honest Timber promised to retain Plysorol's staff over the next 3 years. Plysorol employs 470 people and runs three plants.
