This decision was made an international organizing committee of the world championships, considering the high level of open national competitions in Belarus. At the 7 th Open Championship of Belarus on felling in 2011 will be invited to the national teams from most European countries and the world, so they could see the possibilities of Belarus to take such a high level of competition. It is planned to arrange for the contestants great cultural program, to familiarize them with forestry in Belarus, to show the sights of the edge of blue lakes and rivers, virgin forests.
According to international rules competition fellers forests, world championships are held once in 2 years.
According Ruzheny Novitsky, preparations for the World Championship 2012 fellers forest has already begun. Holding such prestigious competitions in Belarus will bring to our country even more tourists, and also open new opportunities for international cooperation, said a spokeswoman.
